Full-time | 37.5 hours | Regional role | Full UK Driving Licence required (Van provided), We're looking for a Maintenance Operative to join our Property & Facilities team, supporting multiple services across the region. You'll play a key part in ensuring our buildings are safe, compliant, and comfortable for the people we support.
What you'll be doing
- Carrying out a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks (including plumbing, joinery, decoration, minor electrical work and general repairs)
- Completing fire safety, legionella and compliance checks to ensure our services meet legal standards
- Providing excellent customer service to Service and Operations Managers across the region
- Using our CAFM system to log, update and complete maintenance tasks
- Managing your workload independently and ensuring work is completed within agreed SLAs
- Ensuring van stock, materials and equipment are well-managed and cost-effective
- Travelling between services, with occasional overnight stays where required
