Capital Project Lead

We are seeking an experienced capital projects leader to oversee a diverse programme of major construction and infrastructure works. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, manage large-scale estates developments, and ensure high-quality delivery in line with organisational objectives., * Lead the programme management of capital construction projects

• Oversee the full project lifecycle from conception to post-project evaluation.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams, external consultants and contractors.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to required regulatory standards.
• Provide specialist technical and construction expertise to senior stakeholders.
• Lead on financial planning, cost control, risk management and governance.
• Prepare and present reports, business cases and progress updates at senior leadership forums.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, technical and health & safety requirements including the Building Safety Act, HTM/HBN and internal governance frameworks.
• Oversee procurement processes including tendering, contract management (NEC/JCT) and performance monitoring.
• Drive continuous improvement and promote sustainable, innovative project solutions.
